Do you ever get writer's block? Can't think of another thing to write in your blog? What do you do? I start searching the news of the day, reading the newspaper, even just look at some photos of things I enjoy like animals, the beach, just to get my brain working. Any other ideas? Let's share and maybe even post your blog address so we can visit and comment. Here's mine: http://www.shawnsbidness.com/blog

I generally don't run out of ideas. If I don't have anything original to say I will often comment on one of the stories or topics that one of the blogs that I read has written on. The news, blogs, and my life always seem to provide ample opportunities! :) My blog: http://www.mattjonesblog.com -Matt

I have considered reading other people's blogs but then I think I might have the feeling to copy what they have written already! I just opened up your blog to take bookmark and read later ;)

There is definitely a balance between original content and talking about what others have written. Generally if I talk about what others have written I either add my own thoughts on the issue or keep the post and quotes short and link to the source so others can read it at the source. Original content is always crucial to keeping a blog running: either by adding you own thoughts to what others have said or being completely original. I hope you enjoy my blog. :)

I try to blog about the stuff I do, which really makes my blog not interesting. I don't do much so most of it is me complaining about my lack of life! I keep saying I will change that but still, nothing changes. I really need to update it again but if you wish to visit it, you can. http://www.aboutpaula.co.uk/index.php

What you consider boring others may not! Remember our own lives are very different to others' lives. So the interest can be in reading about your adventures even though you think it's just an every day thing.

I find your blog very interesting and i like the post. A lot of times that i experienced it especially when i am doing an entry. There are times i don't know how to begin and how to end it. It kinda take a lot of time especially for a beginner like me and not that good in my writing skills. By the way here are my blogs. My goodness! You have so many blogs! How do you do it?? And you say that you are a beginner. I think that is unreal. I'll be taking a look at yours too. If I can find the time to read them all ;)

I have been at a loss before, several times in fact, but I always seem to find something to write about eventually. sometimes I will write a short note about something i read somewhere else, and link back to it. My main blog is at http://badpennyweb.blogspot.com

I got your blog bookmarked too! I do link to things too in my blog. That's one of the great things about blogging is that it makes you want to learn more so you can write more.

I never run out of topics to write about, but I do run out of ambition to keep writing. I've had a one-subject blog going for almost a year, and right now I'm struggling to keep it fresh and useful. My other blog, which is fairly new, is general commentary on whatever interests me at the moment. That can be the news, other people's blog posts, or a book I'm reading. Books and the internet are a big source of inspiration for ideas, but they don't always help me get over writer's block.

Oh yes, writer's block is possible. I've had months when I only wrote one post. I think it's guilt as much as anything else that gets me writing again.

A one subject blog and you had it for almost a year - I'd say there's no way you could have writer's block on that one. It's hard when I'm in a slump to get out of it.

Not unless I was smacked in the head and amnesia manifested . . . if I breathe, dream, imagine, like, love, dislike and even despise each day, I write about it each day. Yes I have had myself rendered "blocked consciously, sunconsciously and unconsciously" making it difficult to produce readable informative stuff. Yet, there is so much material inside to be expressed creatively, not enough hours in the day. I enjoy those 'break times' cause solitude is also a wonderful expressed work of art, dontchya think ?

What an inspirational response! I remember a while back saying that as long as I was alive I could always find something to write about, even if it was just waking up. I'm going to look to your words of wisdom when I think I can't and in actuality I can. Thank you so much!
