Anyone else here hooked on The Sims or The Sims 2?

Our house is, we have it on every platform, Apple, pc, nintendo ds, playstation 2 and gameboy. I just wondered who else here is just as insane lol? I started off years ago just on Sim City way back in the old Nintendo days then brought the sims with all the extension packs. I still haven't got bored of it and love building houses the most. What's your fave thing to do on The Sims

i'm not really into the sims. but my friend sure is! he's making the game run the whole day. and the funny thing about him is that he simulates real-life daily activities with the sims. he uses real names of real people, and tries to take over their lives.

LOL My daughter does that, she makes images of her friends and family. I suppose it's quite fun to do something like that! Thanks for responding.

Lol on the Sims 2, you can get them pretty close though, I love creating new sims and giving them silly faces with big eyes and mouths lol!

I have the Sims and the Sims 2 and all of their expansions on PC. I bought one for XBOX too and the graphic is really excellent, the Sims look so real and classy, I love their outfits in the XBOX *laughs*. I love decorating houses the most. But I especially love the dating part in Sims 2, I love their expressions on faces when they go do things together. It's a really cute game. I love it when there is no winning and losing too, that means I can play that forever! *Laughs*

I love the sims! I have it on xbox, playstation2, and pc cuz thats all the consoles i have... I also have the sims2 on them all... plus I have the sims busting out and the sims pets on ps2 and xbox. I don't know what my favourite bit is. probably building houses like you. I think it is a great fantasy. Building a house as big as you can decorating it with all the fantasy stuff. its great! im addicted... totally

I should say that I've become a Sims addict once. I have tried to play sims last two years. And lately, I used to play Sims 2 on our personal computer. I love playing Sims because I can make and design my dream house. I also love to play Sims pet on my mobile phone... What a SIMS addict...

I just love designing the houses too! I go through phases of playing the sims but at the moment I've just found one compatible with the Mac so I'm back into it for the moment! Thanks for your response!

I used to get to play Sims once in a while;but now-a-days, I end up palying Spongebob, Cars, ScoobyDoo, and the likes with my youngest who will be 5 in a few days, between him and my grandchildren....I do not stand a chance on the games. I have used that time to visit here at myLot instead....I think it was a fairly good trade off.
I guess we have Spongebob avaiable on every available aspect now...cd rom,game cube, gameboy, and v-smile.

Well it seems like you wouldn't have much time with the little ones around you too! We have the spongebob's too, although that's more for my daughter than myself (although she is 17 lol!) Thanks for your response!

I get a kick out of Spongebob...I am surprised after actually watching more than I would admit too....that this cartoon teaches some valuable childhood lessons...like sharing, friendship, respect for others property....yup!!....I am hooked...(but like Patrick and Spongebob...I always float back down....HAHAHAHA)

omg i LOVE sims 2!! I like to make my crush fall in love with me ont he sims... its like getting to be GOD for a day... not really...but its still fun lmao.
Building the houses it the most fun, I like pets too tho. More options.
