It will be difficult for many people if e-gold company is closed. There are other alternative payment processors but they are not as popular as e-gold.Paypal needs verification by credit card and they don't pay many countries. In withdrawing from paypal,we'll face will lots of problems.I don't know how alertpay or pecunix is.If e-gold is closed,I'll join alertpay since they pay by cheque.

It is not true that PayPal requires a credit card. You just can't open a business account without a bank account or credit card. Individuals can still send or receive money using PayPal. They even have a debit card to use fro withdrawals and purchases.

There seems to be this kind of rumor going around all the time about e-gold! I have had an e-gold account for 5 years and I have heard this at least 2 times a year. Don't worry about it closing. If you feel you have to keep your money safe because of these rumors, then just keep your balance low. Don't let huge amounts sit in there for more than a couple of days.
