How many siblings do you have?

Nowadays maximum parents are choosing to have only one issue(kid). Two kids are also normal but three kids in a family is rare. I have two brothers, one elder and one younger to me. My elder bro is a spastic. How many siblings are, you? And how many issues you will choose to have when you are married?

I've never heard of a kid being called an issue! I am the oldest of 3, my partner is the oldest of 4! My sister in law is having her 4th next month & my other sister in law is having her 3rd either next month or early the money after. Having larger families is getting less common but it's not really a rarity. I guess it depends on how many you can afford or whether you're just set on a large family. Originally my partner & i were set on having 2 kids but after our first came along last year, my partner has thought about just having the 1 but i have been thinking maybe i'd like 3 so things change!

Oh just so you know, you don't need to be married to have kids!

Lol, you are right, present times marriage is not a requisite to have kids, but since I am from India, I just spoke up my tradition. You are also right ,about the fact that the decision of having one, two or three kids, depends largely on your ability to afford their up-bringing. In my case, I have a 5yrs old daughter...it is high time that we must have another issue, and, both my partner & I, want to have one more, but is judeging the pros and cons. Thank you for your frank response.

were six siblings and im the eldest and its fun.. were having fun specially when we went home altogether... for me i want to have 3kids with two boys and a daughter and 3yrs old apart with the two kids and for the youngest it should be 5yrs apart from the 2nd child :) (just wishful thinking) -- so that i could give my kids more attention than having more kids and could give them quality education... :)

Yes, nowadys parents decide to have only one kid. I have one elder sister and one younger brother. Both of them are architects. My father has 4 brothers and 5 sisters and my mother has 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Scenario has changed nowadys as it's very hard to get kids well educated. Me and my wife have decided to have one or two kids at max.

That's the decision almost every parent is considering now-a-days.
