Someone on yahoo I ignored several times and still sending me messages

he might have a trojan you know... there are things .... which are made specially to remain connected to the internet... you cannot switch them off and they keep sending msgs to you... and it appears as if the person whose yahoo id it is.... is sending the messages..... you should contact this person and ask him if he/she is doing it.... and also tell them about the messages you are getting

That maybe a bot, or was pre-programmed to send continuous messages on every person/user it was assigned to. I haven't experienced this yet, so I know now that you're completely annoyed by this. Try to create another handle under that Yahoo account of yours, as I've been using three since I created an account there. Hope this helps..

Yes, some messengers have this bugg sometimes. I use icq. And some versions of icq have this bug if somebody ignores you, you can still message to him. There are also options to delete yourself from the list of his friends. Check your preferences. And expecially the option: only users in my list can send me messages. Then delete this one from your list.

Yes, that's happened to me before too! It's very frustrating too, especially if someone is really bothering you. I've sometimes had guys who wouldn't leave me alone, and when I tried to block them, they just somehow kept sending me messages. I guess I know now I'm not the only one who has that problem! I'm not really sure how to fix it though either.

No I never had this problem but I don't get much spam on yahoo messenger, It's rare that I get a spam message and once I "ignore" it they never contact me again.

I am using yahoo messenger now for about 5 years. I did come across same situation as yours several times. I think together with ignore, we should also report this person as spam so that it will be blocked completly.The best thing I do is just avoid them, never reply to them, keep deleting their offline messeges without reading them and they will stop by themselves. Don't get worried. There is no harm in it.

it is a virus...i just ignore them do not respond or visit the links they give....it means trouble for u and all that is on your list.
