How can my boyfriend treat me out on a date if he has limited budget?

TIPS on how we could have a terrific date without spending much money.My boyfriend is not to well off and his to shy to say that he wont go out with me because he has run out of money.I volunteered that I would be the one in charge to pay just to spend time with him but he refused. I tried telling him that there are ways that he wont spend cash on a date...actually I don't know if that makes sense

Offering to pay just hurts his pride. Instead invite him on a picnic. Or to dinner at your home. Lots of dates can be free. A walk on the beach,or on a nature trail. Or even through the streets window shopping. A park,a library, or even some museums are free. You just need to be creative.

tell him to get over himself and to spend time with you - this sounds like he likes being in control you know what I mean
Men should realize women can be the provider once in a while too in a relationship - but alot of men are still so pig headed that they feel like they need to be the provider for the money - Hunie - it is 2007 now not 1920 anymore
