CafePress - Can you really make money from this?

I have thought about having a shop on CafePress, to sell some of my designs, but I really wonder if it is too expensive to sell them. I think that a lot of what they sell seems overpriced to me, but maybe you think that it is not? It is very much of a niche isn't it? Can you really make money on Cafe Press? Do you think it is possible? Do you have any good or bad experiences with Cafe Press? Do you think that SpreadShirt is better? Do you have any advice for someone who is interested in CafePress? or selling designs on the internet?

I have used CafePress for designs that I bought myself to give as Christmas presents. The t-shirts I bought were high quality. The printing was also quality done. I have not been to SpreadShirt. There is another website called Zazzle. I have not purchase anything from them. You might check and see if anyone local prints items. They may be cheaper.

Hi in regards to CafePress, I think that it would be too expensive to sell anything there I did go to this particular site once but what I seen there the prices are way over the top for me and so I have never been back there again, but maybe some other members are earning money from there. I do think that you would received more help from SpreadShirt though. I only know about sites for selling designs to Australians sorry.

The reason why I have not set up shop yet is because I think the items are very pricey. I say you have nothing to lose so give it a try.
