I am a New Yorker. I love this State, and moving to another state or contry is not something that i would consider. My favorite aunt is moving to Virgina in the next couple of months. Would you consider moving from where you are to another state or country? Why or Why not?

In a heartbeat, I went to visit my brother in Georgia last summer and I didn't want to come back I told my sister to ship my children and sell my stuff that is how bad I didn't want to come back to Philly. Now my brother has moved to Texas and I plan to visit him this summer and if the circumstances is right this time I would be out.

Girl it is so beautiful down there, my brother lived in a small town outside of Savannah, I was all over Georgia though I went to Macon, Atlanta, Cobb County, Augusta, Fulton County and a few other place. And Charlotte NC was beautiful too. Girl if you have someone down there to visit take a trip, I drove down by myself a girlfriend was suppose to go but she backed out at the last minute so I went by myself.

I would consider it only if I had the right resources when I did I can't just move with nothing as far as having a job when I get there and a place to stay.. but other then that I love to try new things...

No way. I love where I live too. Lots of family nearby. I just love the East Coast! I have no desire to live anywhere else.

I had lived in ohio all my life, when I was abiut 48 years old I met the man of my dreams and moved to his home state of Stowe Vermont. It was beautiful there I lived there for about four years before I really became homesick. so husband in tow we moved back to ohio about a year ago.Although the two places are very different I think I like the flat open land here in ohio best.

Well the pictures dont lie lol if you like lots and lots of snow that stays till mid may, I was so shocked my first winter there when it snowed 14 inches in one day they laughed at me because that is normal there but here in ohio that would be a disaster. But really it is beautifull there winter or summer.

While I've never physically been to New York, I've always wanted to see it. I think just to say I've been to New York. I would love to go to a Broadway Show - the real thing and see Rockefeller Center. It must be awesome. I've live in Texas, California, Nevada, Alabama and Hawaii. Texas is home. Then again, home is where your heart is. I adore California, at least did years ago. I absolutely LOVE Hawaii, although it's been years since I was there and they say it's really changed. I wasn't thrilled about Nevada. It's too much like Texas in climate. I would love to go back to Alabama for the history and even farther east for more history. Given the opportunity and the right conditions I wouldn't mind moving away from Texas. I have a dream spot in my head where I would like to live. I don't know where it is exactly. I know it's in the mountains, surrounded by tall whispering pines. There is a stream running close by, within walking distance and a calm lake just down the hill where we keep our boat. Down the mountain a ways is where the land meets the Ocean. I can get there in less than an hour's drive. I don't know where this place is, but given the opportunity to live there I sure would. Given the opportunity to live on a lake someplace, anyplace, would also be nice. I could do it easily. I would consider moving to another country if I knew it was safe. I've thought about retiring to Mexico. They say it's awesome there too and inexpensive to live. Yea. I could do it. That reminds me? Want to buy a cute 2 bedroom house in a cozy little West Texas town? I know where one is for sale.

you are just to funny!! i have a place like that in my head too. a nice big house, with a back yard that goes on forever. tall trees, and cool breezes. the grandchildren running around asking for cookies. (store brought cause i don't bake). It would be in NY state thought, cause i am not good going any where. unless someone gives me a great big ol house in another state for free. then i guess were would talk.

I'm in Michigan and of course there is nothing here. My husband has always wanted to go to Houston Texas, He loves it there. He's been all over the world playing basketball over seas and he prefers Texas over everything else that he has see.

I used to visit Brooklyn, New York every Summer when I was a child. My great grandmother used to live there, but since she has passed away the visits started fading away.We have relatives there but we havent been in years.I used to love it when we did go and had tons of fun.I live in Virginia and I really would consider living in another state, maybe cause its boring and I have been here all my life.Far as another country no I definitely couldnt do that in my opinion its the best one.

I was born in France, moved to Canada where I lived few years and now I am living in California. I like different cultures and I like to explore different countries. I don't think that I will stay here forever so you got me wondering what is the next country or state I am moving to next. My sister is like you she doesn't want to move from her hometown. She is comfortable there and she doesnt understand why I move so much lol But I like the change and I love exploring other cultures and countries.

I moved to rural Arkansas about 3 yrs. ago; I had lived in Oklahoma for almost 25 years......we moved here to retire...I absolutely love it here..we live in an area that has 3 major lakes within an hours drive of our home...we get to live in the country so we can raise our horses.....it is so peasceful and serene.....low crime rates...green and lush...... fishing, camping, hiking, boating, scuba diving are the activities widely avaiable in our area....I will be happy to spend the rest of my natural life here on top of this hill theat we live on...surrounded by all of nature's beauty. There are many places that I would like to visit still in my life; but I do not see me moving again, my friend. While I have never been to New York, I have seen many pictures; it looks like a very nice place to live!

I wouldn't move from my home state just because I am Texas born and raised and you will never catch me living anywhere else. I don't care how pretty or nice the place is there is nothing like your home state. Especially Texas we have everything here so why leave. lol Good luck if you decide to move.
