Rock Legend Peter Gabriel teamed up with some other guys to offer free legal music downloads. Now how this works is there is an ad placed at the beginning of the song. Right now they have some sample downloads and I downloaded a Dave Matthews Band song and the first three-four seconds of the track has an ad and then it goes into the song. Of course if you don't want ads they will offer an ad-free version for sale, not sure of the price yet. Anyway you can check the website out for yourself, www.we7.com I'm going to keep my eye on the place and see how things turn out.
