is it ethical to fly now ?

should we seek other methods of travel now ie boat,train (buggy drawn by race horses he he -my own invention)now that burning fossil fuel is doing so much damage to the envoirnment?i am poor so i dont fly-am i being a kill- joy for thinking we should go in a different direction?

Flying is here to stay. Do you know that planes are seldom, if ever, 100% occupied? So even if you don't fly, that seat is going to be empty. They are not going to use less fuel because of your absence. Unless you intentionally get a private jet, then maybe we need to look at this again. :P

are people here to stay? airlines are not charitable organisations they run for profit if a route is not profitable they pull the plug on it.

Hello glamgrl, I commend you for your effort to want to make this world a greener place. If you can get enough people to boycott a flight, I guess this idea is worth exploring.
