Is there one talent that you wish you had? That one thing you wish you could always do? I always wished I could sing. I know other people wish i could sing too. I am singing all the time, sometimes very loud in public. It just makes me feel good, LOL. What talent do you wish you always had?

even though i am fairly talented (i am a freelance writer and am dubbed the craft queen at my church lol), i totally admire people that can play the piano... we knew a guy who had reached the highest level of piano schooling and he was amazing! i did take lessons, but did better at the theory than at the actual lessons lol...my brain didnt work fast enough to read the notes and make my fingers act...but at least i got the chance to take lessons!! ah, so now all i can do is listen :-(

I took up the violin almost a year ago. My great grandfather played one and won all the contests he entered. I wish I could learn to play like he played. That's one talent I don't have I wish I did. So far all I can play is Mary Had A Little Lamb.

I play the piano and have for 40 years. I love it. I thought I would be able to pick up the violin and play it as easily. Not so. I've had a piano in my house since - well - forever and don't know if I could do without one. On those days when we just don't want to do anything? That's when I open up the piano and get out all of my song books and play until my fingers hurt. Talk about stress relief. I love the piano - and it loves me.

My father was in the music business. We were required to take piano lessons for one year. Then we could decide ourselves whether we liked it enough to stay with it. I didn't and I sincerely regret not sticking with it. I wish I could play. My husband is a terrific dancer. He is a champion step dancer and I love watching him perform but I hate seeing him perform with other women (former students of his). I wish it could be me up there with him. He also performs with his family (sisters, mother, one brother and a couple of sisters-in-law). It would be nice if we (husband, wife and two daughters) could perform as a family. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Because I have fibromyalgia which includes chronic pain in my legs. I can dance at a normal dance, for a couple of songs, but then my legs give out. Step dancing is really fast. The kids have fooled around with it a bit but nothing serious.

It so amazing, I would like to draw and paint it is something so peaceful about painting the closes I get is the paint by numbers. I like to sing too but I can't carry a note even in a bag.

Everyone has a talent for something...it is just taking us a little longer to find it. See you have the talent of feeling good, so don't let others make you feel bad. Your singing may not be as good as you would like but if you sang to your child they would love it and thnk it was the best they had ever heard. I wish I had the talent to understand people who are depressed, dig into their mind and help them live a happier life.

i would not recommend understanding them, what i think you should do is help if you can. this is what i have learned. i have learned that you can only help those who want to help themselves. i have learned the more time spent around people with a negative vibe, the more that starts to rub off on you. i have learned that you can not be happy and sad at the same time. so if you know someone who is down and feeling blue, don't let them vent, ask them one very important question, What do you want? just one ladies opinion

I don't know where to start! I have so many abilities, but I don't have the ability to turn them into income, for the most part. So, I guess I wish I had the talent for making money. Looking back I wish I would have persisted and developed at least two more specialties: one intellectual / academic, and one vocational (ie, locksmith, etc.) But, most of all I wish I had learned how to make money. For instance, the ability to pick the right stocks would be a fantastic skill .. whether by intuition, analysis. Anyway .. if wishes could be fishes!

LOL!! you can always learn about the stock market and how to be a locksmith if you want to. it's not over until it's over! you can still get in the game

Singing would be a nice talent to have. I also wish I knew how to play the guitar or the piano proficiently. I also wish I were a talented painter. Definitely something creative!

Singing would be nice, but i wish i could write better. If i could write better maybe i could become a best selling author. I like to write but when i compare my writing to others it just isn't as good. I need more education I think.

you can go to school and take some writing class. first you need not compare yourself to anyone else. your writing will never be good enough until you stop saying it ain't good enough

I would have to concur with you, I wish I could sing. I mean I can but whether or not I should is definitely in question. My 16 yearold that I love to annoy by singing often asks me, hey Dad who sings that song and when I tell her she says good let them sing it.LOL

I believe I can do this if need be, but I wish I had the ability to crank out good empowering books for women; I also wish I had the power to persuade. I feel I can sing darn good; just one of them talents that is in the background; but the book part would be good.

Figure Drawing - It would have been lovely if I was the one who draw this..
It would be great to be a super talented person.. I know I have a bit of each like singing, dancing, drawing, and many others.. But I guess it would be ultra nice to have one that I'm marvelously talented in.. like being one of the best in such a field.. My top three actually are singing, drawing, and playing the piano.. I know I can sing, but I wish that I am better.. I wish that I am as good as Beyonce Knowles.. I can draw.. my father was a good artist, and perhaps I inherited it from him.. But I am not as good as him, and I wish I could be as great as that guy in Disney Channel's Art Attack.. Playing the piano is one my life's frustrations.. I wish my parents had gotten me a tutor to teach me how to play the piano when I was young.. I can play a few which I learned from music class, but I really really wish that I can really really play the piano cos it would have been lovely to make good music with it..

I wish that I had a nature flare with interior decorating...I have a daughter who is almost 30 years old...when she lived at home, her room was always the "cutest" room in the house......when she moved into her first apartment...her apartment was so cute...she can mix and match colors and ohh, just take almost anything and make it look so charming and inviting.....While my house is clean and neat....it always seems to lack the touches that she has.....she has tried to teach me...I just do not see things the same way she does....if given the exact same items...her's would be amazing and mine would leave something to be desired........If I could have one talent...that would be it! Interesting topic, my friend...have a blessed day!
