On Sunday April 29th, 2007 The curtain came down on one of the key members of the group that gave us the world renown song "Thin Line Between Love and hate" Mr. Alexander Brown. Alex was a sweet, loving, kind, conscientious human being who was living his dream as a Persuader. Alex became the glue that held the group together. After reorganizing and revamping Alex, David, Tony and Richard continued their journey bringing joy and romance and love to the millions of fans all over the world. Unfortunately facing the dreaded task of fighting in court against a group of impostors Alex was eager to have his day in court to let the evidence show they were the real Persuaders. If you ever got a chance to attend a concert by them there would be no question. This is my tribute to Alex. Be At Ease Be at ease and trust my friend Things aren't as they seem For now's the start it's not the end Our loved one's been redeemed. There are no words that we can say. No magic to behold,to take the place of someone dear With goodness yet untold. But time has come and set in place The will of God be done. He searched the world from earth to space and Alex was the one. The chosen vessel from the earth to take his place on high to join the ranks of soldiers picked to march across the skies To choose the ranks of soldiers come and pick out angels' wings To dress the servants of the throne and help the choir sing. His fears and woes are long past gone his love of life renewed And every time he gets a chance he sends a kiss to you. It's there in all his memories it's there in all you've shared It's there in all that he believed In all the ways he cared. So be at ease and trust my friend Things aren't as they seem. Our loves don't die they just transcend like visions in a dream.
