did you ever wonder why people say "bless you" when you sneeze? is there really any reason to say that? im just wondering. even i myself say "bless you" when someone sneezes and i don't even know why I want the person to be blessed! Is there any religious/scientific/clever explanation with this? let me know.. ^^

I have always heard two different things about this growing up. I have heard people believed that the heart stopped during a sneeze and when someone would say "God bless you" it set the ticker back in motion. I have also heard that the soul leaves the body and could be snatched by an evil spirit if "God bless you" isn't said. These are just old urban legends from long ago. Today people mostly say "GOD BLESS YOU" just because it is known for good manners.
