What things help in the speed and performance of a computer???

I regularly delete unwanted files to stop my computer from getting cluttered. I also do virus scan regularly. What other things can keep my computer from slowing down???

you can defragment it and also do a disk clean up.

On my computer I go to control pannel and then performance and maintenance to do those things.

Try and do a defrag at least once a month it makes a heck of difference to the speed of the processor.

Use CCleaner which clears up all the unwanted and unused files and temporary files created while browsing. It is a very useful utility and the best of it is that it is free.
