ok if you started a discussion and and it didnt work out the way you hoped it would would you feel bad? i started one and i have second thoughts of it now. my cousin signed up with a site awhile back and tried to get me to and i told her when she got paid to show me and i would sign up. well she got paid and showed me the check. i figured ok great i know now that they pay. well i started a discussion about it. i have never reccomended a site that i persoannly have recieved payment from but this time i thoguht was different cause of my cousin. well alot of peopel are saying it is a scam that they dont pay. i didnt know that my cousin got paid so i thought everyone would. i dont know if it is a scam or not. i mean you invest no money, you invest no time. you just let a window pop up and forget about it. you dont even give them paypal info they mail you a check. so there is no harm if it doesnt pay but i still feel bad if people sign up and then dont get paid. i wish i wouldnt of posted it now cause i didnt get paid since i just signed up. liek i said i dont tell anyone about a site unless i get paid it was just my cousin showed me she did so i thought wow this would be nice for everyone since i know we can all use the money. would you feel bad now though? do you sometimes wish you could delete a discussion you started? i lvoe mylot and i try really hard to do the right thing here. i dont lie or make stuff up i am honest and would never hurt anyone on prupose. i have alot of friends here and if this doesnt work out and my cousin was just one of the few lucky ones then i dont want anyone to be upset with me cause i was doing it to help not hurt. does this make sense? would you feel like this? i hate when people get mad at me and even here on mylot i dont want to upset anyone. ok tell me if i am nuts, should i worry, am i wrong, would you be upset with me, would you understand, i can take it just dont be to mean please. lol

Please don't worry about it. Those things happen. There are a lot of sites that will pay at first then they stop. We have all been through it and it is a rish we all take everytime we sign up for a pay site. Anyone that has been doing this for a while will tell you that it really does happen. I would not be mad at someone for a free site. Really don't worry about it.

I wish you wouldn't feel bad. You are just such a caring and nice person so I understand why you are feeling the way you do. You should just look at it that you were sharing information you have in a place where that type of information is sought after. We are all adults (well, most of us) here and can make decisions for ourself. You didn't lead anyone to a scam, no one knows for sure that it IS a scam. You have evidence to the contrary and you shared it. If any one gets mad at you it will likely be because they want someone other than themselves to be mad at. I will bet that each of us have a post or two that we wish we could delete. Just keep being the great person that you are and you will survive this unscaithed, I'm sure.

Actually, I checked out the website and they do accept all kinds of payment methods, including Paypal. You do have to make a minimum of twenty-five dollars to make payout which is the 15th of every month. Any minimum amounts are rolled over until you make payout. Frankly, I don't know if this site is a scam or not, but if you put the information out there, it's up to other people to investigate it and decide if it's for them. I wouldn't worry about it though. Just keep on posting and hopefully the site will work out well for you and you can report back about it.

yea,I was reading that...I think the first message was like I will give it a try Than after that it seem like everyone else message was that the site was a scam and you had to keep defending yourself from ppl who said they didn't recieve a payment when you clearly stated you saw a check your cousin had gotten from the site and decided to give it a try I was like dang, they are really jumpin on her back... But don't let it get to you just keep doing your thing

i wouldnt feel bad if i post a topic and it didnt turn out the way i want to. I just move on and try to improve on the next discussion. As regards sites that pay and later turn out to be scams, well i think they pay for like a month just to increase peoples' confidence in the site and then after having a lot of prospective customers they go down the drain. One of my friends told me that when he signs up for a new site, he invests for a month and gets out of the site cause most site would want to establish a false reputation by paying for the first 1 or 2 months then they later run away with your money.

I wouldn't worry about it. I signed up for a site that did pay people but then they got a large influx of members and they quit paying. It happens.

Sometimes sites go under. I've had that happen before. I've recommended sites because they always paid me and then one day out of the blue they were gone, with my money. That's what happens sometimes when you do programs on the Net. You just never know. Plus, just because one person yells scam doesn't mean a site is one. I've seen good sites slammed because someone got caught cheating and they were deleted. They retaliated by yelling scam because they thought it might scare people away and hurt their site. You meant well, so don't take it hard. That is the only thing that I don't like about MyLot. You can't delete or edit your discussions. You could always add your own comment to it saying you've found out some new info about it and people might want to think twice before joining now, or contact MyLot to delete it. If you haven't been burned by them it's possible that it really isn't a scam but that they cheesed off a cheater and they yelled scam to scare you away.

Anyway the discussion is now deleted I think. I don't think you should feel that much guilty about it. Now you have described everything and made clear of your intensions. Everybody has their own intelligence to look for if the recommended site is genuine or not. Let us wait and see if you get paid or not. For the time being brush out the ill feeling and get yourself cheered. Come back active in myLot. All the best.

i do feel bad if i create such discussion.. but now i'm feeling even worse when i seriously open a discussion to discus with others.. and others refuse to reply me.. i think sometimes it depends on the popularity of the discussion too.. it does not depend whether your discussion is a good discussion or not.. some people.. they are popular.. even if they open a bad discussion.. many will still response to their discussion.. and they will get lots of money from that discussion.. so.. i think a popular discussion is not always a good discussion while it's the same for a not popular discussion... anyway... i know it's not your fault that the site didn't pay right? i wish i could delete some discussion at times :)

I don't think there is any reason for you to be feeling bad. It seems like you were just trying to help others and had nothing but good intentions. You aren't responsible for the fate of the world if something goes wrong and I don't hink you should feel so burdened. Isn't there a bumper sticker about this, something about something or other 'happens'?

I wouldn't feel bad. I already created discussions that didn't work the way I was expecting. Sorry, but I can't read your whole text! It's way too long, really sorry about that, I'm only answering to the title. I must reach 500 responses as soon as possible!

Don't worry about it. You didn't know when you started the discussion about it. Maybe your cousin was just one of the lucky ones to get payment. Has she gotten any more payments? I wouldn't let it bother you at all though because you thought it was something good and you just wanted to share with everyone else.
