Or... do you think it's all just tap water with a fancy label on it? There are some really neat ones out now and I am such a sucker for the packaging, I love the FUJI water, but heck it's so expensive like $2.00 for a 1 liter bottle, but it's the packaging. What about you? are you picky or it doesn't matter?

My favourite bottled water is called Nu - it's a new one here in Australia, and it tastes nicer than the others we have, and is no more expensive. I think though, that they are all very similar, just different packaging, etc. I usually go for the cheapest.

Haven't seen it here yet Abbey- is it just water or flavored? I haven't tried many of the flavored ones yet the one I did try was too sweet. Thanks for your input.

At the moment they only do a plain water one - perhaps they will do flavoured ones once they see this one take off.

My favourite is the Highland Spring water, sometimes the varieties with a twist of fruit in! I love it, especially when travelling Lynn-Marie

Water....bleck !!! I know it's good for you, I just hate it. I do like the 1 liter carbonated flavored waters. Lots of places sell them now. WalMart and Safeway are my favorite brands of these. I like the white grape the best :)

LOL now now! it's good for us. I know I am bad about it too because I keep justifying that Ice Tea and Hot Tea are just water with a different color in it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is plain tap water with all the dishonest people and scammers out there.

Howard- There you are! Haven't seen you lately was worried about you! Glad to see you. Yes I have often thought there is some really rich family somewhere that makes these great looking labels up on their home computer while the kids are filling bottles from the Garden Hose !LOL. I remember as a kid seeing the "Sparkletts" truck and thinking WOW wouldn't that be neat to have a water dispenser in your house! now we have bottled water and ice and water on our fridges, etc.

Hi there again, Hey if you ever do go for one of those water dispensors in your house, get one that has about 5 filtrations and make sure it has the ultraviolet light filtration. That's the best.(And no kidding I do know that the water company was filling their bottles straight from of the city water)

I usually buy Aquafina myself. But when it comes down to it I really don't care. Just as long as it is ice cold. I am like you. I do love the fancy bottles.

We are victims of Marketing scams LOL. Give us the bells and whistles and we'll buy them everytime huh? My husband hates to take me car shopping. He looks for a great buy I look for the cup holders and the bling LOL

I don't use plain bottled water too much. We got a filter on out tap. It saves lot of money even with buying refill filters. I do buy flavored waters. I like Propel and Special K.

That's a great idea too, buying an inline filter or osmosis type system. That would save alot. Good Idea.

I have read so much on the scams that are going on all about bottled water. I have read that the best bottled water is your tap water boiled, chilled then poured into your own bottles/containers. My friend has been pouring her own boiled water into the same expensive empty bottles for years. I am one of the few that know she is not shelling out big bucks for nothing.

LOL she's on to something.... New water available Just add your tap and an empty bottle, make your own label LOL I love it. I am sure that there are areas that you would not want to drink the tap water boiled or not. But honestly I like the convenience of having the bottle on my desk I drink it it gets empty I feel a sense of accomplishment like I actually did something good for this tired old body LOL. It's not the same in a glass I just leave it sitting there.

I used to drink Arrowhead Mountain Spring water and it was great tasting. Drank it for ten or fifteen years until we moved into our new house in the desert. We have our own well now and I've never tasted water so good before. So I cancelled my Arrowhead deliveries from now on. My husband likes the Stater Bros flavored sparkling waters. Black cherry and cranberry are his favorites. I like the Black Cherry but more than a sip and I get a tummy ache. So back to the water I go.

I love flavored waters (sugar free). Dasani and Nestle are my favorites. The Nestle Strawberry Splash is really good for dealing with my major sweet tooth. LOL

I haven't tried those? I will have to give it a go. I tried one that was flavored. ( I think it was the Wal-mart brand) and it was way too sweet. Since I am not a soda drinker I only drink Tea I found it to be too sweet to finish it all). But I have seen others. I will have to give it try. Thanks for sharing.

Unfortunately the labels are all that are different on the bottles. The water is mostly the same.I did a study on bottled water and found out that the water company I was studing was just filling their bottles with the city water.Shocking, but true...and alot of them do this.Unless the water is put through about 5 of the different filterations it is no different then drinking from the tap.If you want to find out more on the water your drinking do a search and look up your board of water and health near you...it's eye opening what's in our water.

I remember a few years ago a guy had just been released from prison after spending near on twenty years behind bars. He was asked what were the biggest changes in everyday life since his release compared to the time before he went to prison. His first response was his amazement at seeing people actually enter a store to buy bottled water. Bottled water is one of the biggest cons of the last few decades. There is virtually no difference between the mineral content of bottled water and quality tap water. The bottled water industry has also caused more unecessary waste and pollution because of the millions of tons of plastic bottles that are produced in order to sell the water all over the world. I never buy it.

There is a store here in the town that I live in in San Diego Calif. that is called "The Water Store" and they sell their labeled water and some other types and sizes. It's amazing. Who knew you could open and maintain a store that only sells water? Why didn't I think of it ! Darn it. LOL
