It was pretty easy to make Ingredents:1cup and 2 tables spoons of sugar 4 large eggs 1/2 cup melted butter 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 1/3 dark Karosyrp or corn syurp 1 1/3 peacans 1 pie shell to make: mix the first 4 ingredents together then add the corn syrup or karo syrup or corn syurp and the peacans. Pour into pie shell bake at 350 degress for 40 to 45 minutes.

try this one, its very easy and fast. my recipes are easy and fast because i generally do not have much time to devote, but i love to cook a variety as my hubby likes varieties. so i m having some good easy and fast making recipes. 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1c.sugar 2 tbsp mazola butter 1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 cups pecan halves one unbaked pie shell in a large bowl stir first 5 ingredients until well blended.stir in pecans.pour into a pie shell.bake in 350 degrees oven for 50-55 mins.or until knife insertted halfway between centre and edges comes out clean . cool down and serve. it is like yours but a little different in proportion .

Oh, that sounds good. I went to an open air festival today and got some hot, honey roasted cashews so I am in the mood for some more nuts. It always seems to work like that, I forget all about sometihng, but then once I have some I start craving it again. Your recipe looks like a winner!

Good for you. I make my Pecan pies from Pinto Beans these days. You cannot tell the difference in the beans and the pecans. I promise. LOL I love good pecan pie but it is so rich. ...not to mention fatening. LOL Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe with us.

Congrats on making your first pecan pie! It is a very easy pie, isn't it? I'm always amazed when people buy them from the store. They taste much better made at home, plus they don't have any weird chemical-sounding ingredients. Your recipe sounds very good, a lot like mine. Sweet and crunchy on top but soft in the middle. YUM :)

Pecan pie is one of my favorites. Oh heck, I guess that any pie is my favorite. You should try using maple syrup in place of the corn syrup. It is yummy.

Thanks for the idea, I eat pecan nuts almost every day to get the good oils in them so I think I would rather add the nuts to the cake after baking to keep the oils non heated. I often put some chocolate on the cakes while it is still hot and after melting and spreading it, it is easy to put on some nuts on it.
