do you think that trailers are "feithful" or misleading?

Sometimes I find that a movie trailer in order to be interesting and to invite you to the cinema gives a wrong idea of the film you are to watch. A very good trailer for me is the one of 300.

I think that the movie production company is trying to sell their movie. There is a lot of importance to making money the first weekend a movie appears in the cinema. Sometimes the best part of the movie is what you see in the trailer.

Well there are times that trailers can mislead us. I think that was the purpose of trailer. To persuave people to watch. So no doubt if nice trailers can be a bad movie or in other way around a bad trailer can be a nice movie. Speaking of the movie 300, i agree that it has a nice trailer. I watched this movie already and I enjoyed it :)

Yes indeed , I know the trailer and it was very very good , I was so anxious to see the movie . I've been really impressed when I saw the part when Leonidas said : "Madness, this is Sparta " and then kicked the persian :). 300 is my favorite movie I saw it at the cinema twice . Now back to your question , I have also been in this situation and not only one time ... often the trailers are made so interesting and fascinating and the full movie is a total disappointment . You'll see only the good part and think the entire movie will be the same. I can't say trailers are faithful or misleading because I know examples for both sides and I think it's difficult to difference which movie is good and which bad just from the trailer only when you'll see the movie you can say if it worth it or not. Trailers in my opinion are all good just that some of them are intended to mislead us to go at the cinema pay money and have no satisfaction.
