There are some expressions i cant stand hearing simply because they are used SO often or because they are just offensive in their wording. For example, i cant stand it when people say " sh_t or get off the pot". Not the most appealing choice of words. Also, when someone says "easy as pie". i made a pie once, yes only ONCE, and it was NOT easy. i don't even like pie, so not only was it not easy to make, but it was not easy to eat. Id like to add another one. "don't get your panties in a wad, twist, or bunch". seriously, have you ever been so angry your panties WADDED? how would they get wadded? do you do an angry dance, which causes the wadding? And last, " just chewing the fat". honestly, how unattractive. Just say that you're having a pointless conversation that is getting you nowhere, and its a boring waste of time. lol Can anyone list any others you absolutely dont like? Do the same people you know tend to use the same ones over and over? What do you say when someone says one that you really cant stand? Do you tell them? Do you suggest a new one? Are there any that you yourself use?

haha good response, those are definitely all over used. "like i always say" i hear used a lot, and by people who don't in fact, always say that. very annoying.
