Memorial weekend is a camping weekend!

Every memorial weekend and labor day weekend my family will go camping! I love camping, it's nice and peaceful, stress-free relaxation!
My family had been camping since before I was born. We always go camping atleast 6 or 7 times a year.
I even got my fiance to love it!
Back to Memorial weekend....
Every year we hit a lake, pretty much every time Fall River Lake, KS., on that weekend. It is so packed that weekend though! But I love it the same time, more people to party with and make new friends!
Who all likes or dislikes this busy camping weekend??

I like both, busy and not so busy. I like the busy holiday weekends because there are always new people at the campgrounds that we camp at and there are so many activities for the kids.
On the other hand, I also like the weekends when there is hardly anyone there because it's like our own little vacation aways from everything and everyone.

Memorial Day is a great weekend for camping. As a kid, we went every single Memorial Day. Unfortunately, we do not do that so much now that I am an adult, but I still have the memories. One of the best things about going on this weekend is that it isn't too hot and the bugs are not usually too bad. I agree, it is a great weekend to have some fun !

I love to camp any time of the year when possible. It's really nice that you do it as a family.

i lvoe camping no matter what day it is. we usally go on those weekends too thoguh. sometimes we go to a place that has no one that we just find and hike in and other times we leave on wed and stay till sunday we have to leave out early wed. cause the places fill up so fast. this year though we dont have the money to go. gas is killing us. i think when we went a few weeks ago it cost 75 in gas alone just cause of the boat and truck. not to mention the car too. then if we go where there is no electric to save on campsite fees we are looking at generator lol. i am hoping to come up with the money though the kids have been yelling abou it all week
