Global warming is a real threat that is affecting everyone on earth and actually is threatening the very existence of entire countries and coastlines. Global warming occurs because of a rise in the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the earth's atmosphere forming a 'blanket' that causes heat to be trapped in the earth's atmosphere. While some scientists blame this increase in CO2 because of volcanos, the majority of scientists blame this occurrence on the burning of fossil fuels by man to generate energy. Now my questions to you is do you think that the current heads of nations are fully aware and fully understand the predicament that we are facing? Are they aware that unless we find alternate sources of energy, we will be in alot of trouble? Do you think that enough restriction or controls are being implemented by these heads of states/goverments to curb the use of these fossil fuels? Do they understand that our generation and probably the next generation will begin to feel the adverse effects of our actions today and that future generations are probably the ones that will suffer the most? I think that every person has the responsibility of spreading the knowledge and that everyone has the right to be heard. Through peaceful talks and demonstrations, getting scientists to speak on our behalf, we should all petition the heads as to our concerns for our children and our children's children. We are the ones who can make the difference. I f we wait on the other person to do something about it, they might be waiting on you!!

this problem should really be a concern for us because it's everything under it, if it continious to occurs and may be get worst evrything will be destroyed, they need to pay attention in this problem, specially now that it's election time in the philippines, everybody's dying to win, but they all want is fame and money, they don't have any concern for the problems of the environment and society, they should pay attention to this problem and fix it, i really hope this will be fixed!

Agree totally. Politicians today care only for themselves. But I think we as a people have put these people there and we as a people have every right to be heard. UNITED WE STAND. One million voices will be heard.

I would like to add that if we constantly wait on the other person to do something about it, by the time somebody does finally take action, it could be to late.

Exactly, if everyone of us do our little part, imagine the amount done after over 1 billion people do their part. The people up there will have to stop and take heed.

Global warming is a very serious as it is increasing the sea levels which may result of many islands or continents like australia or UK getting under seat water as glaciers on north and soulth poles are melting.
