Have you ever participated in a discussion that was posted to deliberately insult

I just participated in a discussion based on marijuana and how it is terribly bad for the user. Well, even after many replies stating their personal experience, the person still objected and started a debate. Instead of just listening to the replyer's point of view they decided to start a debate. I answered to this post and this is what they said to me exacly...: "I wish an adult would answer this discussion!" I wonder, just because this person doesn't agree with my reply, should they be so rude? Have you ever participated in a discussion where the person was out to start a debate and fight? How does this make you feel. I am very angry right now. What are your thoughts on this?
