How do you start off your morning?

My mornings are not like they used to be. I worked until we moved and I have been unemployeed since. I have a habit of not eating breakfast. I love breakfast and really should make the time for it. Especially now since I have ALL morning free to make it. So I was curious...how many of you eat breakfast on a regualr basis? Do you have a big breakfast or a small breakfast? Do you make it yourself or do you pick it up on your way to work?

I am a student and thus i always have to get up early in the morning to attend the classes. Now talking about the breakfast then I always have healthy breakfast but not heavy as its not good for studies. I am in a hostel so life is much kind of in a time table. So it all goes on automatically.

As a working Mom, my morning usually start at 5am, I make sure that we can always eat a good breakfast. I believe that in order to stay in control the whole day, a good breakfast is the key to fuel up your hectic day. In our breakfast,we often discuss each activities for the day... It's a fun time to start the day right and know where you're loved ones are going as well...

Wow, what an early morning! =) I think that it is great that you make sure everyone has a good breakfast. I agree it starts the morning off better. I just have to get myself in that mindset!!

I never have breakfast. I am not really a huge breakfast fan. I usually drink my coffee or iced tea, then I'll have a lunch of some kind. But not always. I am really bad about eating any kind of balance meals. But I do eat dinner, thats about my only always.

Dinner is my always meal too. I'm trying to get better though. One really should eat at least 3 meals a day. Starting today I will try to eat breakfast as much as possible! I have so much more energy from having it this morning.

I start my morning off with a good breakfast in school or at home(of course I brush my teeth and take a shower also). It's usually a small breakfast like some waffles, a chicken biscuit, cereal, a donut, or a bagel. I eat a larger breakfast on the weekends because I have the time to prepare it. I would either make it myself or just buy it a school. Breakfast gives me the energy I need for the day.

That is what I am finding. I have so much more energy today since I ate breakfast. I've accomplished a lot more as well. I'll contribute that to my breakfast as well.

I start my morning with a stretch. Then I do 50-100 situps. My breakfast is usually pretzel in dark chocolate & coffee. After that I'd clean a part of the house ( since I'm unemployed too ). Do some yardwork (since it's spring) And watch over my mom.

I'm going to start excercising daily. I need to. =) I'm also going to try to eat breakfast on a daily basis. Being unemployed has made me lazy. At first it wasn't so bad but now I lack motivation to do things that need to get done. I put things off and then it's overwheleing because it got put off for too long. I do not have to worry about yard work as we have someone that does it for us. =)

Okay come on darling, you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Well that's what they say but really, it is because it kick starts your metabolism into gear. Once that is done you can eat 4 or 5 more times that day and you will continue to metabolize your food and keep from putting on fat. I don't know if you care about that or not but it seems to be what people are preoccupied about these days. Breakfast is great but you have to be careful because there are so many fatty breakfast foods. Stick to yougart, whole wheat toast, boiled eggs, fruit and you will do well. I know I just took the joy out of it didn't it, lol....

You are right. It is the most important meal of the day. I tend to just skip it, even though I know I should not. But starting today I'm going to eat it as often as possibile. It's given me so much more energy today! Usually by now I'm ready for a nap. Not today though! I even showered earlier than I normally do because I had so much more energy. I even blow dried my hair which is a rarity unless I'm going out or have plans. Neither were the case this time. This morning was english muffins and peaches. =) I love the other stuff like pancakes and the like but do not want them all the time. I have to be in the mood for them.

By waking up and getting up. Taking a shower. Brushing my teeth. Putting my you know lotion, gel, getting dressed. eating cereal.

My mornings are really simple. I take my daughter to school first. Then I fixed some coffee. I rarely ever eat breakfast. Then I plan my dinner. Next, I do all housework, run errands, or make business calls. Usually I try to relax at least an hour before having to go pick up my daughter. My three year old is always up with me.

I always have breakfast in the morning, i make the girl's lunches and get their breakfast ready for them...they are 10 & 14 and then i get my breakfast ready and sit at the computer while i eat and check my emails before i head to work (i work p/t outside of the house and p/t @ home) and after we eat we head out the door :-) hope you find a job soon:-)

Thanks, I am hoping to find one soon. I have definitely been trying. =) I think it is great that you always have breakfast. I think it's really important and I'm going to start trying to eat it as much as possible. Today was the start. We shall see how it goes. =)

I start off my mornings with a shower (of course including cleansing my teeth and stuff). Then I usually get changed and put my make up on. I don't have very much time for making breakfast, so I will have something easy, usually it's a toast and a coffee. Or sometimes it's some biscuits and a coffee. I enjoy having breakfast before work and it makes my day more confortable and relaxing to start off.

Breakfast definitely starts the day off better. Skipping it makes me feel more sluggish and lazy. The days that I eat breakfast I tend to have more energy.

I don't work anymore either and it's a relief!! I hope to never be employed again unless I'm my own boss!! I haven't eaten breakfast in years though. Only in recent years am I able to have coffee again so I do have one cup when I get up which I sip on for a long time. Food just sounds so disgusting to me when I get up! I don't normally start to get hungry until about 3-5 pm at the earliest!

I really do love breakfast. But like you, I don't usually feel hungry right when I wake up. I guess I would have to condition myself into doing it daily. Usually by 11 I'm hungry, but there is no sense in eating breakfast then. I usually wait a little longer and eat lunch.

Sorry about that unemployement part .ya morning ususally do the usual and apart from that start getting ready to the college . teachers are so strict about punctuality you know.used to do some exercises in the morning like yoga but suddenly somewhere in the middle started neglecting it .now i am repenting for it and would some how like to start the yoga practice again but bad habits you know just like to sleep and snuggle . breakfast is always sweetly and deleciously prepared from my mom so its always a full stomach in the morning .... one advice to you always keep trying for a work and never ever give up coz once you ge into habit of getting late in the morning it will just start ruining your body .. ok then all the best.

Being unemployed really stinks! I have noticed that it makes me more lazy now. I need to get into a routine. I had a nice small little breakfast this morning. It's given me so much energy. I showered earlier than I usually do. It's great. It's my motivation to eat breakfast more often.

I use to take a shower after i woke up, it eat breakfast and go to work. sometimes it makes me bored. i really dont like to woke up early in the morning.

I always get up at 7.Brush my teeth and eat some food quickly. Then hurry to classroom. I think it bad to one's health not eat any food.

get up in the morning and have a bed coffee and then go downstairs to get the newspaper and read the newspaper and the go to bathroom have bath and then pray for 5 minutes and then have a small breakfast and then go to the office

mornings..?I almost get up at 10- 1030 if there is no college or work.Or else the best i can do is 8 and have bath brush and have food and rush to the work.

I usually wipe my teeths and my face or take a shower and then have breakfst, not much, just a glass of juice a cup of coffee and toasts, that´s itSometimes when I am in the mood i have french toasts.

I have my breakfast everyday in the morning once I get to work. I usually only have a protein shake but it fills me up until lunch time.

I wake up in the morning normally i dont stand first i think what is my dreams last night and then after i remember my dreams im going to stretching my body, my hands my feet. After that, il keep all my pillows and blanket. Then i'm going to brush my teeth and take a shower. After that im going to take my breakfast...that's all..
