books - harry potter book 6
i only lend my book to those who knows how to take good care of a book and who always return what they had borrowed. and if i do lend someone my book, just to make sure that they would return it, i would also borrow one of their book.

i do lend my books to my close friends and family members.before i lend my books to my close friends and family members i tell them to keep my book properly.i guess i prefer the book to be damaged then to say no to my close friends and family members.

ya i do sometimes if the other person assure me to take care of it nicely and give it back to me without any reminder from me. As many a times ity happens i need to remind even 4-5 times to my friend that they have taken my book and please do give it back to me.........I don't like that type of attitude

actually no one borrows books from us, well its not that were selfish or something like it, my mum stacks old books in an area and there comes a time that we give some to charities. to orphans, kids who cant go to schools.. :)

It really depends on the person I'm lending it too. If I know the person is careful with things and is reliable to give the book back when I ask for it, then I have no qualms about lending. However, if the person isn't too reliable, I may not lend it.

I dont have a problem lending books to my friends provided they keep them in good condition. Books are expensive and its not possible to buy all - so an exchange is fair game according to me.

I really don´t feel confortable lending my precious books´cause many times that person will just forget to return it, it hsa to be for example your brother or closest friend and you are sure this person will return it and even in those cases you can end up loosing books.

I only lend books that I am not concerned about getting back. Other people don't take care of books the same way I do. And so often when I lend something to someone, I don't get it back. So now I only lend things that I don't expect to get back.

You must have read a famous quote by a famous intellectual of all the times that "Gyan banto Gyan Milega [The more you spread Education the more you will get and learn more]. So for me lending books, lending my knowledge would never trobuled me any time. So if you are possessive then you must change your ideology and should go ahead to lend all your things with others. In case you need something important and you don't have any means to get it. Then what would you have done. You must have approached someone. In case it is really really very very important and your friend or some one in family had been possessive at that time then what would have been your reaction? Just try to put yourself at that point and think once again. Hope you got it.. :) Bye...

I'm very particular about who I lend my books to, and it is usually only to people who's books I have already seen. That way I know if they respect books. One of my pet hates, and I have several when it comes to books, is when someone folds down the corner of a page to mark their spot. That's what bookmarks are for. When I have leant a book, I'm not happy until it comes back in one piece.
