Flax seeds - Flax seeds--What can they be used for?

Flax seed? I purchased a box of it with the intensions of using it in homemade bread. Can you give me more ideas (recipes) what to use it in? Muffins? Soups?

i put them in homemade cookies. it doesnt taste like anything so the kids never even realized that there was something healthy and beneficial in those cookies. you can also sprinkle some in oatmeal, in cake or muffins, and casseroles. have fun cooking!!

"Its high content of alpha linolenic acids has made the ancient flax seed become our modern miracle food. Thanks for the link also. Should have added it in the discussion. Hahahaha! Being as I'm on Lipitor for high cholesterol I may try using this in my low sodium diet as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
