Refferals.....do you ever check on yours?

I don't have any refferals yet, but I was just wondering. Do you check on your refferals to see how they are doing? Do you thank them if they are active members? Do you say hello to them and offer them some tips on how to be more active in the community? These are just some things I think about when my mind wanders.

I have referrals and what I do is send them a message with a link to a free ebook on using forums to make money. I tell them a bit about how to earn on here and thank them for joining. If they want to contact me for any help with anything they are welcome to do that. Good luck with getting some referrals, I see mylot is running a referral competition.

I saw that video contest. It's nice that you do that for your refferals, I would prolly do something like that for mine if I get any lol. Do you ever check up with them later as well? Just to touch base and see how they are doing from time to time?

I have sent a second message that contained a link to an easter giveaway that you could join free and get over 1000 products from, that has ended last month but I will probably send another message with a link to some free gift and a message of encouragement etc.

That's neat. I lost all my links and stuff when we reformatted lol. Now I don't look for things like that because I am not sure where I picked the worm up. Now I have severely limited where on the internet I go as far as stuff like that goes.

I have 14 refferals and each of them do not come online, basically i am doing it the hard way. I dont know what is wrong but each person i seem to talk to already has mylot or has heard of it, i find it very difficult to refer to mylot but hey there is people on here who has thousands of refferals.

Thank you for your response. As I said I don't have any refferals yet and I am not stressing to get any. I am having more fun here just posting and seeing the bonus when my earnings go up. I know I did it all by myself so at least for right now I am very proud of myself. Once I post proof of payout it might be different I may get refferals then, but if I don't oh well. I was just wondering if anyone thinks of their refferals and communicates with them.

I've tried, but every single one of my referrals pretty much just signed up and went away. One of them did start one discussion, and I replied to it, and sent them a message saying thanks for joining and all that... but that's all I ever heard out of them. It's kind of frustrating, because I have so many people there under me, but they haven't done anything, so I haven't earned anything from them. I haven't bothered making any more referrals via websites and things yet, since I had such a bad response. However, I'm still trying to convince some of my offline friends to come here, and my online friends from a forum that closed a while ago.

Most of the people I talk to who I would refer to myLot are already here lol. Some of the of the people I know I wouldn't refer to myLot they would just annoy me here too lol. I don't worry about refferals I am doing fairly well on my own. It is nice that you do try to get involved with your refferals. I don't think a lot of people do that.

Hi Erilyn. Only 2 of my 10 referrals are active so far. Once they approved the automatically generated friend request, I was able to send them an email to welcome them. I also drop in on their profiles occasionally to see if I can reply to some of their discussions. Until the other referrals approve the friend request, I have only been able to send them a thank you thru the chat board of the site they signed up from. But it does help to contact them & offer assistance should they need it. :)

Thank you for your response to this. You got what I was asking about. As I said I don't have any yet, but that's how I would hope to be with my refferals also. I think more people should take the time to say hello and thank you and to offer assistance.

Thank you, I hadn't thought of doing that. I had planned on when I got my first payout on the 15th posting proof of payment from myLot and was hoping that would help also. Like I said though If I don't get any refferals I am not too concerned about it. I figured it would be esier to get them once I got my proof of payment.

This is true. It is good that you check on them and make sure everything is going well. I don't have any yet, but when I do get some refferals I hope to have an open communication line with them. Help them out by letting them know what has worked for me etc. and help them navigate around mylot.

Hello. I have some referrals and I check their performance from time to time. I only have 2 active members and I gain about 0.06 from them daily. I give them tips to have more money. =)

Thats great! As I was telling Trans earlier, I recently had an article published on AC as tips for new users to help them earn on myLot. I wrote it because of all the people that ask how to earn on myLot and people who say you have to have big post numbers or a lot of refferals to make any money on myLot. I hit payout at about 120 or so posts. (With no refferals.) If you would like I would be more than happy to send you the link if you want to take a look at it and maybe pass it on to your refferals.

Sometimes I do check on them Now, I have 18 referrals but almost all are not working. I fever I check on my earnings and saw a point on my earnings from my referrals, I check it to see who is it and do answer some of his/her discussions. In this way, we can both earn here in mylot. Its a good thing if referrals will be active here. More people to answer each other's discussion, the merrier. I post some tips on mylot at my multiply blog. I said that they can check it there anytime they wanted. =)

It's good that you are in contact with your refferals. And you are right more people responding to each others discussions help make myLot a happier place. The more responses you have to a discussion the better a discussion gets IMO. You also get different points of view on it. And you are right it is nice to help your refferals earn money, and the more money they earn the more money you earn.
