hello mylotters.. can i ask you a very simple question.. how clean is your water? and how do you know it's clean? i do use water filter here in my apartment.. and we assume that the water is clean because we actually filtered all the dirts.. and we have some heater to actually kill all the bacteria in the water before entering the tank.... how about you? do you use water filter? and it is really important to drink clean water? before this.. i used to drink boiled water from the pipe.. i think it's still fine.. as i'm still healthy even after drinking it... but i do know some fussy people will prefer to filter their water.. they are my housemates.. haha.. how about you? :)

Clean water is the basic need all humans have, and it can mean the difference between having lots of health related problems and not realising how they come or living a relatively healthy life. I would suggest to buy, boil or filter water if you know or suspect that the water you're consuming is tainted. Too much Chlorine and fluorine in water can cause some serious ailments. Water has strong healing properties and it is not a coïncidence that out lives depend on it. It is wellknown that we should aim drinking at least two liters of water daily.

I am just curious. If you place cloth on your faucet, and there is water flowing through it often, wont this then cause mold to grow? Im not sure if this is really a healthy thing to do. How often would your change the cloth?

it's clean, we can even drink the water that is running from the bathroom. to think it has the same tube, i mean the water tube. my friend from other place, where the water is worst, told me that our water from our faucet is like mineral/distilled water in their place cause they really cannot drink the water running out from their faucet. they have to buy mineral/distilled water all the time. even for their baths, they have to buy water. thank goodness my city has the best water.

Well it depends upon how much resistance you have built into yourself. Some labour class people drink the same water thet use for washing clothes. They do not feel the water pressure. They have other problems to think about.

I don't know. I remember when I was a kid I use to just drink the tap water but then we installed a filter and now we're drinking purified water that we buy from refilling stations. I don't really want to try the tap water as I have a pretty weak stomach after suffering from amoebiasis a few years back.

THe situation was different 20 years ago when I was a kid. We used to drink water from anywhere, kitchen or bathroom tap. There was a storage tank near the ground where we used to go to play. We used to drink the same water and we never experienced anything concerned with bad water. Now I see, children playing in the ground drink the same water. No problem.

We have a well, and the water has some dirt and sand after a rainstorm sometimes, but otherwise it's pretty clean. Our well has a filter, but we still have to bleach the well and pipe system about once a year and have the water tested by the health department. It's still way better than drinking chlorinated city water though.

I feel you can never get to know how clean is your water or even after using a filter or such kind of a thing whether that is also pure cause you can't see that bacteria in that with a naked eye and i feel there is always some amount of bacteria or whatever in the water that we have.

Hello, charlestchan,I think the water in australia is generally clean and safe for drinking, many people even drink the tap water straight away without boiling it, at least i do not see any impurities or dirts in the water, i will assume the running water us safe for drinking.

Earlier we used only filters as the water seemed to be quite clean. But with the increase in water borne diseases,we satrted using aqua guard. Now we use the RO(reverse Osmosys)machine to purify water. It turns tap water into almost mineral water in purity and sweetness of spring water.

We used to filter our drinking water before but i think it is not that safe. Now, we are just ordering water from a water refilling station and i can say that it is cleaner than the filtered one....

Hai this is a fine question thanks, i use a water purifier then boil that water and only drink it so thereby i makesure it makes no harm for everyone. But mostly what i find in the homes i visit is that most of them take the water from the pipe and boil them directly But i don't think this will be enough. In some houses i find that they drink the water after purifing without boiling it. I think there should be proper programs in tv and newspapers so that everyone can follow the same healthy method Your's , Abindas.

i think it's pretty clean.it has a weird metallic taste to it,but it's not full of lime, like some places i've lived.taste aside,i think it's safe enough to use without filtering.

We have the water tester and so far our place's water is pretty clean for a tap water.. but we do order mineral water for our daily use. We use distilled water at the office as well. We have mineral pots and filters as well for the tap water.

i just moved from a wealthy town to a ghetto city and was wondering how clean the water is down here in these apartments. I drink that water anyways cause i don't have a filter, so hopefully its not to important to drink filtered water
