Life in general is pretty good, I am poor and I have lived alone with my four children for the last eleven years, they are great kids and we do heaps of things together all the time. We live in a warm climate when even in winter the water is warm and the sun is shining we snorkel alot and fish and surf. I am so glad we live in Australia? Where do you live? is your climate what you like? Tell me about it.

I am living in South Wales in the U.K. It's great here at the moment as we seem to be having an early summer. What's good it that is't not too hot and not too cold (around 70°F). We are forecast a hot summer, but I find it tends to get very humid and uncomfortable, not like the dryer heat you get in many countries which I find is hot, but OK. I have never been to Australia, but it's one place I really would like to visit. I had some Australian friends when I was kid that used to visit their grandmother who lived nearby, they were a great bunch of kids.

The south of Wales sounds like a great place, my grandfathers relations came from Wales. I think it would be a great country to go see one day. It is going to be a nice autumn day here today, 29 celcius being autumn it isn't humid, so I will spend a couple of hours relaxing on the beach a bit later, our dog Maxine loves the beach and gets cross with me when I don't take her. She starts walking out the gate with a look on her face like come on or I will go with out you, so I then tell her I have food for her so she will stay until I am ready. Are you about to have holidays?

I am sorry to hear about your heart and I hope you will feel better with the right medication, sometimes it takes alot of working out to get the right medication to do the job. Where I live it is warm all year round about 29 degrees celcius, but in a couple of weeks I am flying south to visit my parents they live beside the Snowy river in Victoria Australia and it gets quite cold there at this time of year as it is only one hour from the snow. It doesn't snow where they live though as they live only ten minutes from the mouth of the snowy river into the ocean. I hope your heart gets better it can be very difficult having an alert mind and a body that caren't do much. My family is well known for having heart problems, ours are usually leaking values or weak heart muscles, not blocked arterys but it all makes life hard to get around especially if you are an active person.

Thank you:-) I think my heart is well on the road to recovery now. I am doing everything they advise as I don't want to become old before my time. There is a history of heart disease in my family too. Strange to think that it gets cooler as you go south in your country, as the southern part of Britain is the warmest. Particular the South West as it gets the warmer currents from the Atlantic and gulf stream.

I'm from the Netherlands, the weather is just great right now because it is summer time but generally it is cold and rainly all year round. I can't say I'm too annoyed by it just like summer the winter has it share of romantisism. I prefer warm climates over cold once but the sub tropical climates are the best. South american countries, or maybe the amazon. I love rainforests :)

The Netherlands sounds great, What do you do in the summer when it isn't raining so much? It is autum here and we are heading south in a few weeks to visit my parents who we haven't seen for nearly two years because of the distance, and the cold, it gets rather cold down south my parents live near the snowy mountains the only part of Australia where it snow. brrrr.

In the summer I just like to be lazy and relaxe, go to the beach, the park, there is alot of nature to enjoy here. Water sports are nice, but in the end you'll just find me dreaming away enjoying the sun and perhaps a good picnick ;)

I live in Italy in a city. I like the place where I live but the climate here is awful in summer because it's hot, damp and full of mosquitos. Anyway I wouldn't live elsewhere because I have many advantages absent in other cities or towns.

Italy sounds like a great place, I have always wanted to visit one day my grand mothers relations came for northern Italy. I think I feel like you though, I love where I am very much and I would never want to leave it for to long. Here the beaches are white and sandy and at this time of year we are starting to see the Whales migrating north to calf which is great fun. It's even better in October/November when they bring their new borns south for the summer, and they dive out of the water more often because the young are so playful. It's funny thinking of a ten ton whale being playful but they are when they are with their babies its so cool to watch.

Your village sounds peaceful, is it by the beach or a river how far are you from the nearest city. My village is also peaseful we live by the ocean and we don't live very far from several small cities, but my family and I like the village lifestyle better.

Nope, I don't like where I live right now, but that's okay, because I'm moving in less than two weeks! Right now, I live in the Midwest, and it is always very humid here. The winters get very cold, and the summers get very hot, to the point of being unbearable. It is only the beginning of May, and we already have the air conditioner on because it is above 80 degrees and humid. When we move, we will be going to Seattle, which has a much more temperate climate. They get a lot of rain there, but I am willing to live with a lot of rain, just as long as I can get away from the heat. I can live with cold, too, because you can always wear more clothing. When it's hot and humid, though, you get to a point where you can't take off any more clothes!

Are you moving to Seattle for work or the weather? Have you been there much before? Do you have friends or family there? I moved here, Noosa,Queensland, Australia two years ago and it has been the best thing that my children and I have done we just love it here we are right on the beach and the weather is warm all year round. I didn't know any one when we moved and I didn't have any work and it was a big decision but we all love the move my kids love the beach, life is tuff money wise but we are happy and that's what counts, right?
