i happen to read an article in the newspaper that a studies shown that drinking a lot of fluids ex. water more than the suggested daily allowance increases the blood pressure inpatients with high blood this is due to the fluid that goes inside the blood vessel and making the blood flows faster...

I am on high blood medication and doctor advised me to drink a lot of liquid. Whats the rational behind that article you read? Drinking a lot of liquid is good for the body. It helps to flush out the toxins in the body.

i haven heard anything as such and biologically speaking it cant be true!! when the blood becomes too sticky only the blood pressure will be high.. the more fluids we drink it will not get accumulated in the blood alone.. it usually is removed through other factors... drinking lots of fluids is always good for health!!!

Hmm. Never heard that before. I never noticed any effect on my pressure from drinking a lot. I have my pressure monitored closely.
