What did it take for your Senator or Representative to sell out our troops?

U.S. Speaker of the House Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader made a big show out of what they called a "Bipartisan" appropriations bill. The bill was supposed to continue funding the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Language was added that would (unconstitutionally) set a timeline for the war in Iraq. Pelosi claimed that it had "bipartisan" support. The ONLY reason it had any support at all was Pelosi agreed to add billions in pork spending to buy the integrity of House members. So, my question to you is, how much did it take your Senator and House members to sell our US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan?

Nothing, as none of my reps in this state supported the bill under any circumstances. I think anyone who did just for the pork spending ahs been in office too long. I have been of the belief for some time that congress is in need of a good house cleaning. Time for the vats majority of them to go.
