Now that the kids are in little league, I find that we are spending a lot of time in restaurants. Instead of cooking dinner, we tend to hit the local fast food places...and we spend anywhere from $12-$15 every night! OUCH! Not to mention, we are just getting sick of eating out!

I know what you mean! We went threw that for football, wrestling and basketball season. I finally started making dinners in the crock pot. As soon as the games were over, we would come home and eat. It got way too expensive to eat out every night, not to mention that it isn't healthy. If we had a late game, I would bring sandwiches for the spectators and still have a dinner at home waiting.
Now we eat out only once a week and usually spend about $30.

Glad I could help. I know it is so much easier to just grab something to eat out but it does get costly and as you said, sometimes you get sick of it. Enjoy the sports!

Hm, we eat out at least a couple of times a week, and if we go to fast food its usually $20 for all of us to eat. If we go to a sit down restaurant, its anywhere between 30-50 for all of us to eat. So I'd say at least $50 a week in eating out, if not more. Ouch! We really need to do better! That money could really be spent better and it would be better to eat home anyways!

I try not to feed the children alot of fast food. Not just because of how expensive it gets to be but also because of the fat content. I will normally try to pack a picnic diiner on the nights that we will be running late. The children enjoy getting to eat at the park. Sometimes we will take food to the park to grill while the children are practicing. My children love when we make roll ups to take with us. You can use any type of meat and cheese rolled up in a tortilla. Or use pita bread to make a healthy sandwhich with.

We actually only eat out about once a week if that. It normally costs us over thirty dollars each time. My girlfriend cooks most of our meals at home, which is wonderful. My girlfriend pre-makes meals for nights that we are going to be busy with extra activities. This way we aren't wasting alot of money going out to eat. We can't really afford to do it anyway.

We usually just eat out on the weekends, probably twice. I cook for my family everyday of the week so when the weekends come we like to spend time as a family and go out and eat out or buy something and take it to the park. My husband knows it's not easy cooking every single day so it helps out to get a break once in a while. We probably spend around 30-35.00, which is pretty good for a family of 5 eating twice.
