Thanks to those 2 people who responded to my last post and advised me not to take a higher dosage than my doctor recommended. Of course though, I was determined and foolish and did not listen to you. I took the higher dosage and for about a week now I've been having a rapid heart beat at night and I cannot sleep. Then the other day at the gym, I thought I was going to keel over. I know this is because I went against my doctor's advice and took too much Synthroid. I am now, obviously, going to go back down to the right dosage. Hopefully the weight will come off anyway at this dosage. I'm working hard at it. For those thinking more thyroid medication will make you feel better and possibly lose weight, well I found out the hard way that it's not necessarily the case.

Oh gosh please be so careful. Anything that makes your heart work itself over what its used to is fangerous. i know sometimes we want things to go faster. But, remember the weight did not come on overnight and its not coming off overnight. I have to tell myself that a LOT..Take care and no more not listening :)
