they never fail to buy a ticket everyday, hoping that one day they'd hit the jackpot and finally fulfill their dreams.

I think it's not right to pin your hopes on the lotto. Its a gamble.Only a few win lottos and the rest feel disappointed.rather than wasting their time and money on these lottos,i feel they should work and try to fulfill their dreams.People should have more faith in themselves than in lottery and they should be ready to work hard enough if they believe in their aspirations and really want to achieve success.

correct! besides, money that is hard-earned is infinitely more satisfying than money that is just won.

Absolutely!!You are also sure to get money for your hard work but lotto can never guarantee it.

As long as people just play for a few dollars I think it is fine. people know that the chances of winning are not big, but it is still fun to take part and dream of the huge winnings one may get.

yeah, for just as long as it's for fun. but when they obsess about winning, that's a different story.

I agree. If they obsess on it and place all their hopes and dreams on it it is a different story. people need to work towards their dreams in life - not place their trust in Lotto

In a situation we have in our country where poor becomes poorer and rich become richer, its almost impossible to alleviate life just being persevere and industrious. That's why many of our fellowmen tried their luck by gambling not just lotto, we have also "jueteng", horse race betting, and many other forms of gambling. For them by winning on it would end their suffering from excessive poverty. We know its wrong to rely on gambling hoping that it would save their life from struggling in this life. But without so much opportunity and talent, how can we blame them if that's the only thing they can see that somehow would raise them from mud.
