Are you good in remembering names of old freinds?

Are you good at that? Im really bad when it comes to names...like when im in the mall..meey a familair face..i smile though but think after what his/her name is..there are even times that we chat for a while and forgive me but i need to ask the name again.
Im really bad at it and i admit that. i dont know why..i try to fix that problem in me, but dont know how to...
i have this freind who's really good at remembering names..even good in remembering dates on birthday and important occassions in the past..i wish i know how to do that.

i see..i guess its only fine if you meet them once, thats normal not forget their names after couple of weeks not seeing them...

I"m quite good remembering names or faces. And I remember birthdays and special days - except for my own that I sometimes forget :)
Sometimes when I have too much on my mind I have a bit more trouble. It takes me longer to remember a name or a face but it usually comes to me on time.
I remember the names of most my old friends even the ones that haven't been in contact with me for the last 20 years.

I am bad at remembering any names old or new, I just don't have a good memory, I never have been, I can be introduced to someone and five minutes later I will have forgotten the name of the person, I have to write names down so I remember the next time I meet them..i am absolutely hopeless.

same thing goes with me..i can only remember names to people whose been close to me..when we get to met again, i can only remember then by faces only...

i'm not! i'm actually terrible at it. i guess, what's worst in not remembering someone's name is not remembering anything at all! this happened to me and i was really embarassed. it was really hard to pretend that i know him.. even where?! because even his face was not that familiar, but he knows my name! then eventually, he sort of gave out clues until i got it! thank God! most probably it was already too obvious for him to notice that i'm having a really hard time remembering who he is.. heheeheh!

that was funny..same thing happened to me also..its hard to pretend like you know someone but having a hard time figuring it out! hope they can find a medicine for this...lolz!

well i am good at remembering my friends names , b'days ,etc... unless i havent been in touch with them for a while...
but even when i say see them then i might take some time but i surely do recollect..
its very rare that i completely forget.
thanks to god coz that surely matters a lot...
