Many a times i realize that i have missed out something after submitting my discussion/response...but when i look for the edit discussion option,to my surprise i cannot see anything like that.I am really surprised so as to why this feature is not enabled or is there any option to edit discussin in Mylot which i am not aware of...i am cross checking this post so that i do not look for edit discussion option again :-)

I would love this to be possible. I have even written mylot about it and they have written me ba ck saying that they will keep it in mind for future updates. That was a long time ago though. I just hate it when I post a discussion adn then realise that I forgot something important. If that happens though I usually put that under the comments of the first person responding to trhe discussion

I thought you having problem in editing your profile in discussion sortie. There's no way you can edit that post. Sad to know mylot has no capability in having this option.

I disagree with this but i don't want to repeat myself.. look in the similar discussions and maybe you'll find the other thread. Basically mylot is about quality and to teach good handwriting you give a person only a pen. SO they must live with their mistakes.

No, there is no way to edit your posts. While I understand the reasons behind not letting the posts be edited, at least there could be a short time window or a maximum number of characters that could be changed. That way, those of us who try to type as fast as we think can catch our minor typos and fix them before too many people think we can't spell or don't know basic punctuation. Even the most diligent proofreading is prone to missing small errors when you know what you *meant* to type. Allowing only minor edits would prevent folks from putting up placeholder-type posts, or from posting flames, that they later edit so as not to get punished.

A feature which would indeed be welcomed indeed, I think by many. Easier to get rid of those nifty little spelling errors and such, although it would allow for posts to be altered making the reply totally falling out of place if edited after a reply has been made.
