Canada

Most countries have union and non union employers and also contrat emplyees. Most countries also have a minimum wage. Here in Canada it is set by the provinces and is different in each one. Should ther ebe one minimum wage nation wide or world wide? Should there be a set minimum wage that all employess be paid regardless of their location but relavent to the country thye live in?

In the U.S. our minimum wage is set nationwide. I think that's the fairest way to create equal opportunity for everyone. I don't think it's even feesible to think a world wide wage is an option as every country differs so much for cost of living and even what their dollar is worth.

Hey HB22, I think a minimum wage should be set for each state according to the cost of living for that particular state. As an Independant Contractor I believe a company that hires IC's should at least offer around the guide lines of minimum wages for the IC's they hire. +'s 2 U :D
