How do you add a picture to your mylot friends comments?

I'd like to add pictures to the comments I make on friends' profiles on mylot but I'm not sure how to do it.
I assume I host an image somewhere and then link to it but what is the exact code I should use?
I didn't want to test it without being sure as I have no way of deleting the comments I make and a mistake could be a nuisance to my friends.
I'm sure the answer is obvious but thanks to whoever can help me!

If I am not mistaken. Once you hit 500 posts you will then be able to post pictures to your friends comments. At that time you should start to see a link that says upload photo. At least this is what I have read here on mylot. But I am not positive because I am not quite there yet.
