Why do you think cheating is more prevelant in schools and work these days?

Do you think cheating is a bad thing or do you think it is like telling a "little white lie"?

Cheating is bad of course. But it definitely serves a purpose. I think cheating is more prevalent now due to the availability of better means, the technology, the techniques. Techniques are also passed down and taught to others. Cheating now I think is refined to science. Still, ethically, it is wrong.

Yes, the technology today is allowing children to cheat using their IPods and Icons and Music from them IPods to cheat. How this is done I do not know since I do not own an IPOD.

In school I personally don't think cheating is a bad thing at all, if you can cheat your entire way through school you deserve the degree you got. Perhaps not the grades it gives you, but you definitely deserve the degree. Fact is that cheating for such a long period of time in a stricter and stricter environment by the years requires quite a lot of talent and thinking on itself ;).
On work I can't really see how you can cheat though, but that might be me :).
