What was the original Plot line?

I've been watching VM just recently, just a few episodes before the season ended, so I don't know what the original plot line was. I heard it has changed to what it is now, so can someone tell me what the show was about at first?

The first season was one big mystery, who killed Lily who was Veronica's best friend and the brother of Veronica's boyfriend Duncan. There were little mysteries to solve every week and new clues and revelations in the big mystery.
I don't remember what the big mystery was in the second season.

The majoy mystery in season 2 was who caused the bus crash.

Which season was the mystery of who was Veronica's biological father? I know there was some major ick factor thinking that she had been dating her half-brother. I remember Veronica getting her own way with Duncan's father by signing away all her rights to his fortune if he turned out to be her biological father instead of Keith.

What season are you watching? The new episodes are half way through season 3.
The first season the big mystery was who killed Lily Kane. There were other mysteries that she solved every week that linked the bigger mystery.
The second season the big mystery was who caused the bus of kids to crash. There were some smaller mysteries that lasted longer then a week that were involved, too.
The 3rd season has had several larger mysteries but not one that spans the whole season.

Yeah, that was the newest episode. The show was on hiatus for awhile but it is still season 3.
