Yes, I agree, but if anything, they must have missed their teamwork. They squandered a lot of possessions and had a lot of their passes intercepted by Milan. Too bad for them, everything was starting to look good for them in the tournament, especially with that rainfall win over AS Roma.

yap, maybe there is a conpiracy? but nontheless it is really disappointing to see man u beaten by 3-0. or is it just that kaka is just way too good for man u. but yes after the shocking 7-1 win over roma i was convinced that Man U really can win the champions league title, but that dream is over for them now.....

Tactical organization is the key... Have you seen what happened each time that Cristiano Ronaldo had the ball in his feet? There was Gattuso closing the way to the center of the field and Oddo closing along the lateral line... On the other hand Kakà was too much free, as he had always the time to think and accelerate that is what he does better... Last year Frankie Rijkaard stopped Kakà in Barcelona sticking on his back Edmilson... As I wrote in other discussions don't worry, next year will be better... And moreover (I am serious, no irony now) Manchester United is one of the best team in the world. I think that we saw the actual final as the teams played two fantastic matches (not as Chelsea and Liverpool...)

Manchester United indeed is one of the best teams in the world today. It has been said that this season, Man U has been reaping the benefits of its investments in its young talents (Ronaldo, Rooney). Just people wait until next year. Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney haven't peaked yet, and there's still so much growth to anticipate from these two players. Another year and they'll be even better. And when that happens, who knows what Manchester United can achieve?

They just didn't seem up for the game at all. They started very slowly, and I think that Vidic wasn't fit enough to go up against Kaka. The passing was poor, and overall they just played really badly.

Well, admitted, AC Milan are a very good side. However, that is not to mean that they are better than MU. They played a good gme, and we were a little disorganised and lost our focus of the game. They carried the day. It's cool for them.

Still, it was a great campaign for Manchester United. They still have a lot to be proud of, and their exit from the Champions' League is not - by a long shot - a walk of shame. They are a young team, and there's always next year. This year, though, it's time to walk away, but with their heads up and proud.

man u placed their hope on c. ronaldo so much that they forgot to work on other aspect on their games, just like barca placed their hope so much on ronaldinho. AC Milan were ther 4 business, while man u thot it will be an easy swoop. up ac milan. i

The first half, it seemed to me like Manchester United just could not control the ball, giving it up to Milan in tackles and miscues. As a result, they weren't able to attempt shots at the goal, and the first time they did, Milan had already attempted a lot. Remember how many times Edwin van der Sar touched the ball before Dida on the other end did? Just a testament to how many shots Milan has tried before Man U did. Secondly, even before Kaka made that awesome shot from inside the box, AC Milan showed a lot of confidence in their home stadium. They gave the fans so much to cheer for, and they attacked with such swagger that seemed to take away Man U's poise. You were asking for Ronaldo and Rooney's magic? It was there, sure, but it wasn't enough to overcome AC Milan's wizardry at the game.
