Why is American style football so popular?

These goofy christian threads are going to kill my rating. It is very hard for me to read an OP like this and not simply burst out laughing. For a sect who claims to have all the answers they sure seem to come up with the silliest questions.

Who said anything about having "all the answers"? I maintain that football is in the Bible... and laughter is very good for the soul. The silliest questions sometimes have amazing answers.
