What if having the baby would kill the mother? Do you still think that the mother should have the baby and lose her own life? Another example i saw in another discussion...what if it is a 12 year old that got raped and got pregnant? should that poor girl be forced to put her body through labor just because some guy forced himself on her?

There is no documented case of a mother having to abort because having her child will kill her. And in that case, I can tell you what I would do personally, I would go ahead with the pregnancy. That is the sacrifice that mothers make - you do anything for your children. And I am willing to do that. And who is to say that it would kill me or the baby? What if I did abort and come to find out the doctors were wrong? Take for example, doctors all my life have been telling me I can't have children. I got married June 2005 and my son is now 13 months - we got pregnant literally two weeks after we were married. Doctors aren't all knowing. They are human and mess up sometimes. I'd rather take my chances of giving life then ending it. And as far as a 12 year old girl being raped and getting pregnant. I would say again, I don't believe in abortion. It is hard for most to understand what I am going to say but I truly believe that God created life in her for a reason, for a reason we may not understand, but why should that innocent life inside of her have to die? And also, why should that poor 12 year old girl have to live with the guilt of aborting for the rest of her life? You can heal from a rape. abortion most do not heal from especially if she would be forced to abort and really at the age of 12, she may not understand.
