Anyone try the cook lots of stuff & freeze it sort of cooking? Once in a while I'll double a recipe & freeze one, but I've never really gotten into it. I'd like to try it. Anyone have any good tips, tricks or suggestions. We are vegetarian & most of the recipes I've found are pretty meat heavy : (

I started doing this about 7 years ago. My favorite book is the one from 30 Day Gourmet. My family likes practically every recipe in there. They too have a lot of great information and tips to get started. In the main manual there is a section for meatless meals, as well as tips to substitute the meats in some of the others. Their website also offers an ebook that is completely vegetarian meals, as well as some great general info and free recipes. Their website is www.30daygourmet.com Best of Luck!
