My cat will come to me when no one is around but as soon as my fiancee is near he runs and hides.... Then he does the same thing when I am not there and she is there...I can come in the room and he will run and hide....Does any one else have a cat like this?

My Columbus is a very sociable cat who doesn't care who visits me. He will come out wherever he's been and "greet" them. On the other hand, my Waffles will wait until everyone is gone before she finally appears. Even though I've had her for about seven months, she is still rather skittish, even when she wants to eat. Instead of coming to me directly, Waffles will rub against the wall or chair and make little "meow" sounds until I get up and open up a can of Friskies turkey and giblets for her.

My cat (Gabriel) Is like that too.... Lol He injoys company and always wants to excape and be free... He is an inside cat but loves being outside... I think its funny when I stand out the window were he would be inside and make a meowing sound and as soon as I do he popups in the window...Its funny as heck...
