What type of floor do you like for your house?

Same as u said. Since slipping on wooden is difficult i prefer it throughout the house

i like really nice soft carpet in the bedrooms and either hardwood, or ceramic tile in the rest of the house, dont like my feet to be cold when I get out of bed

As soon as I can afford it, I'm going to rip up the horrible lino in my kitchen and bathroom and put in good tile and rip up the horrible slate blue carpet and put in cork. I live in the basement of my home and my son lives upstairs, we plan on changing the dated slate blue carpet in his half of the house as well as soon as we can afford it. But my whole kitchen needs to be gutted and replaced first.

i prefer wood floors as i like the look of country in the house. We also have carpeting upstairs (though one day we will get rid of that too)and tile in our kitchen and bathroom...i would like to get ceramic one day maybe tho...

I'm with you-tile floors in the kitchen and bath, and wooden floors in the rest of the house.

I have the same flooring as you. But i would prefer Marble as well. Especially when you are walking barefeet, it feels soo cool.
