Discovery Channel, things I have learned.

Last winter we had a day inwhich the snow fell leaving about 15 inches, this is quite alot for us. I told my kid's that we should make igloos for the grandchildren. I thought it would be something they would like. So off they went. When they got the domes made and started digging out the center, they realized that the snow would not stay. I told them to take a lighter and run it on the inside of the igloo. This would take the air out, and seal it (turning the outer layer into ice). It worked. They asked me how did I know that, I told them I saw it on the Discovery Channel. They all laughed, because don't like having to watch it. Just something I wanted to share. And by the way, the igloos turned out great!
