Operation over and I'm home!

I just wanted to let all my wonderful friends here in this superb community we call mylot that \i gave indeed had my back surgery and am now home! My surgeon seems to think that everything has gone really well and that the operation has been a success - we will know more as time goes along! I have to apologise for being over ambitious - pre surgery I thought I would be back here a lot as soon as I came home - I din't realise just how tired I would be! LOL Will be on for a little while at a time at least once a day - please do not think I am ignoring you - I will catch up with everyone eventually I promise! I would love to thank you all for your friendship, support, encouragement , prayers and good wishes sent my way - they have all done wonders and helped me so much! I would also like to thank mylot for making it possible to meet so many wonderful new friends, family and guardian angels! Thank you all! xxx

Take your time my good friend, ease back gently, you have been through a traumatic time, any op no matter how big or small takes a lot out of you! I am so pleased the op went ahead, and I was thinking of you, everything was crossed and welcome home and here's a big, big HUG.... If you need me you know I'm here for you goes without saying xxxxx

Thank you so much sweets - you truly are the most wonderful friens anyone could hope for! I am getting plenty of rest and won't be doing too much of anything apart from resting and annoying the other halh - he won't let me have a bell to summon him! lol Will catch up with you properly as soon as I am able! Love ya sweetness xxxxxx

Welcome back, dear. It´s good to hear that the operation has been sucessful.
Just concentrate on your recovery now. I´m sure everybody here knows that you´re not ignoring them. I´ve been thinking about you a lot and I´m really glad to hear that things turned out alright.

Welcome back Mummymo. You take your rest and get really well again... you've got to do the trampolening don't forget. lol.
Seriously though, I'm so glad everything went well and your op successful. We all missed you... Raydene was after the first day. lol. It's great to hear from you, but now you must take it easy and get that back strengthened again.

Yes, I thought they might. They said much the same to me years ago, when i slipped a disc. No regimental exercise, was the one that stuck in my mind the most. :-( That means any exercises I do, I have to do alone. Oh well, that's life, but I wouldn't chance the bouncy castle if I were you. They're worse than a trampolene for twisting things.

I am SOOOOOOOO happy to hear that the surgery went well, and that your home safe. Please take care of yourself and take it easy. The main person you need to worry about is you. Glad to have you back hale and hearty. When I had my Xrays a couple of days ago I was really surprised to be shown where I had broken my back in 3 places not 2 as I had been led to believe. So I really know what it is like to have your back out of whack. Take care and rest.

Wow Mummymo, well our prays were certainly answered weren't they do have you back with us so quickly, and of course you are going to be tired but we understand that I could not believe that it was your name I was looking at when I seen your discussion come through but do not worry about us we understand and just praise the Lord, that you are ok. Kathy my dearest friend thank you - our prayers certainly were answered! I am resting plenty and although I had a good appetite for a few days it has kind of disappeared again but I am eating lots of fruit (and some sweets!) Thank you for being such a good and loyal friend and I hope you feel much better yourself soon!xxxx

That's wonderful! Now you need to get some rest. You certainly don't need to apologize for curtailing your activity here; it's completely understandable and essential for your health. It's great to hear that there are so many decent people here on myLot, and that you have received such an outpouring of support.

Consider more good wishes to be coming your way and speefding you along in your recovery. Thank goodness the surgery went well, and make sure you don't over do it. Hopefully, you recovery will be nice and smooth.

am so glad that every thing seems to be working ok for you and welcome back ! am sorry if I dont get to answer some of your responces as I havent been on much for 2 weeks I have over 300 emails from mylot friends lol I bet you do to and wonder how you are going to catch up . Just do what ya can and get healed up real fast hugs

Yeah, I am glad to hear that you finally got the operation. I am sure that if the doctors seem optomistic that everything is going to be well. I hope you are not in too much pain from the surgery. Get some rest. Don't worry about us. We all just want you to feel better.

Oh, mummymo, I am so thrilled that you are home and everything is fine. I have been praying so hard for you that I thought God was going to put in a direct line. I am totally amazed that you are home so soon but I am just so very thankful that the surgeon thinks everything has gone well. You have just been on my mind so very much.
Now you take it easy and rest. You have let us know that you are home so don't worry about writing us, or at least me. I just want you be a good patient at home so that your back will have the best possible chance of recovery. We all want you up and well so that you and your family can go out and have fun.
Tell that hubby of yours to take good care of you. Again, you remain in my prayers. God has a special light just for you.
