I saw an article today that Don Imus is contemplating filing charges against the Station he worked for, to get the remaining four years of his contract paid. That would amount to something near $40 million.
According to his contract, he was to be paid $10 million a year to create a controversial and heated show. They essentially wanted him to be the Jerry Springer of radio. This being the case, isn't it a little hypocritical of the station to be firing him for what he did?
This is not to be considered a discussion about what he did being right or wrong and it has nothing to do with racial slander, it is a question about whether you think the station was hypocritical to fire him considering the terms of his contract.

If the terms of hi contract were to be outrageous then I do think they are being very hypocritical. Perhaps a good lawyer will get him a nice chunk of change.
