I allways hear the word 'forex' in the online making money forums. People claim to make huge profits monthly, and every second program (like autosurf/HYIP), say that they can afford the payments due to Forex trading. Now, if it's so good, why there aren't many people who participate in the Forex market, instead of doing cents from posting or clicking on ads? do you think forex is a good option for making extra money? and how can I be a part of it too?

Forex is foreign currency exchange, and people who claimed that they are making huge profit from here got their own strategy to earn from here. If you are a beginner, I suggest that you go through some free lessons online or free forex game before you try to trade with your hard earn money. It is not only about acknowledge or strategies but also phsychology. Not everyone can afford to lose from here. About autosurf and hyip, you better stay away from these program, even they will pay the next day, but they can also dissappear the next few minutes.

I hope I can lend to this discussion and she some light on this. Technically speaking, HYIPs and Forex are different. They are similar only in how HYIPs are presented to investors. Let me explain. Forex, is similar to the equities market (stock exchange) or even collectibles. You buy something hoping it will go up in value so that you can then turn around and sell it at a profit. There are huge players (what they call Market Movers) in the market. As an example, A retailer will buy goods from Japan to sell in the United States (and the reason the US has a large trade defecit). To purchase those products, the retailer will need to buy Yen. So they exchange it or buy it with US dollars for the current exchange rate. The exchange rate is determined by a lot of things but essentially, it's based on the Purchasing Power Parity. If a can of coca cola costs 2.30 Euros in Germany and 2.00 US dollars in the states, then 2.30/2.00 = 1.15. That's the PPP and the exchange rate. Political, economic and other factors in each country also play a role to the value of that currency. That's where FOREX (Foriegn Exchange) comes from. An investor will do the same but with the purpose of making money. If you think the Euro will go up in value compared to the US Dollar, then you can buy the Euro and then sell it later at a higher price. This works the same with other currency. If you think the New Zealand Dollar will go up in value as compared to the British Pound, then you can buy the NZD using pounds and sell it later. Ok.. with all of that said. Forex is not a scam but it is risky. You can stand to make large profits but you also stand to take some large losses just the same. It's not a game. No different than the stock market really. If you bought World Com stock a few years ago and were not educated as to the performance of the company, you would have lost all of your money. Now..HYIPs. The reason why people say they are related is because Administrators of those programs claim that they are investing in forex and then giving you the profits, or they will invest in many different types of programs like sports betting. 98% of HYIPs are scams. There are some that are not though. If you are going to get into forex trading, you have to educate yourself. You must read everything you can get your hands on, study the market, the charts, the economy of the different countries and make sure have as much information as possible. Nothing goood is free and you must do the work to get the gain. If you go in not knowing a lot of information, it's almost guarenteed that you will lose all of your money. Get online and read... read...read. I hope this helped you.
