if your house is on fire what is the first thing to grab?

Hmmmmm, I cant think, I would be very nervous if I could be in this kind of situationa and would be able to get anything inside the house. Maybe if I can still have a good sense of calmness I would first get my passbook and Bible and if I have enough time my piggy bank and other impotant things, then my clothes and other appliances.
What about you?
What could possibly think of to grab first?
are you that calm in this situations?

Wow... I must say are really calm. You must have put all the stuffs in one bag in a particular place where that is the first place you rush to in a fire. But, I do wonder if you are able to carry so many things with you?
For me, the first thing I would grab is the fire extinguisher. This is to put off the fire first. Otherwise, the first priority is to get out of the house safely and in one piece. The rest can wait.

Hey, how silly of me, I have never thought of doing that. Thats the point, even when there is no fire yet I was not able to think clearly.

I don't really know how will I react in this situation, I hope that I can stay as calm and clear minded when I encounter emergency cases like fire. The first thing in my mind is to make sure that all the members of the family are safe and have left the burning house or building. Then I will go for valuable things that have a light weight such as money, important documents, some clothes, etc. If I still have time and the fire is still manageable, I will try to save some appliances.

easy.my cats-i can replace everything else.
after i got my cats safe,i'd call 911 from next door.
it would be a bummer if i lost everything else,but possessions would be low on my list.
